Shrimp Temple

Statues of elephants, monkeys, lions, snakes are rather common in Cambodia but it is not everyday you see a good shrimp statue.  This one was outside a temple that is appropriately known as "Shrimp Temple".

After spending some time looking around at the temple and chatting with some of the monks who lived there our group was departing and they gathered outside to wave goodbye.  The children who were trying to entertain us with their masks also came.  And a happy looking white dog.  Just thought it made for an interesting gathering.
